PADI RESCUE DIVER COURSE

The PADI Rescue Diver course is one of the most popular courses we offer. The aim of this course is to make you a better and safer, diver and buddy. The emphasis is on avoiding problems, but we also practise the correct response to a variety of scuba diving emergencies. The course has recently been updated and improved by PADI and we teach the new version of the course.

We also offer the PADI Rescue Referral option with overseas completion.

DETAILS Upon signing up you will receive your Rescue Diver manual and dive slate. The course consists of 5 theory sessions and 4-5 practise pool sessions where you complete 10 scuba diving rescue exercises followed by 1 day completing 4 Open Water Rescue scenarios. Alternatively the course can take place over one weekend.
COMPLETION You will receive your official PADI Rescue Diver certification card. This is valid for life but regular practise is highly recommended to maintain your skills. You are welcome to join us on future Rescue Diver courses as a way of maintaining your skills at no extra cost.
REQUIREMENTS Proof of PADI Advanced Open Water or equivalent certification. Successful completion of a CPR course within the past two years. We offer the Emergency First Response course which fulfils this requirement. Read and complete the PADI Rescue Diver manual and knowledge reviews.

DURATION 3 - 4 evenings and one full day or alternatively one weekend.
LOCATION

We use several pools in Wandsworth and Lambeth in South West London including Tooting Leisure Centre, Wimbledon Leisure Centre and Putney Leisure Centre. The Open Water sessions are at Wraysbury Lake just outside London. The dives can also be completed on some of our overseas trips including Nuweiba in March and Marsa Alam in June.
